The price of working for Asda comes at a high price for its workforce. As someone who worked in food retail many years ago I feel very sort for the Asda workers.
It seems loyalty, hard work and dedication to this firm means nothing to the Walmart owned company. Asda used to be well thought of In Yorkshire where it was founded and then Walmart got their grubby hands on the company.
Solidarity with the workforce! I hope that people who care actually do something to help the workforce. How about not doing your shopping this weekend at Asda? Customers do have power, use it!
